  • Location: Zoom
  • Latest Activity: Dec 18, 2021

When: Thursday January 20, 7:00-8:45 PM BST; your start time here. (Don't mind the date.)

What: The Deep Adaptation Community Grief Circle is an opportunity to grieve our losses in supportive community. Climate grief brings us together, but all losses including social, political and personal, past, present and future, are welcome. This event is not designed to address recent personal bereavement. Join us for a set apart time of poetry, music, ritual, and less talking.

We who partake of these rituals have learned that grief is not a bottomless pit, but a normal and healthy response, a part of adjusting to loss. We grieve regularly so that we can honor what is loved and lost, treasure what remains, and come to terms with a world remade through loss.  Many (most?) traditional cultures have regular grieving rituals, to metabolize the pain of caring in the face of inevitable losses.  Let’s restore that practice!

How to Join: Register here to receive the Zoom link.

Who: Terry LePage has been facilitating Grief Circles in her local settinge through the pandemic, and consider grieving in community a powerful part of Deep Adaptation.

This event is hosted by DA Facilitators, who lovingly volunteer their time and expertise for events as their way of honoring DAF’s mission, embodying and enabling loving responses to our predicament.

Donate: This event is offered in the spirit of the gift economy. If you appreciate this offering and are able to support the Deep Adaptation Forum, please do so here.
