We are facing the end of the world as we know it. Confronting our fear of death and accepting our mortality can put things back into perspective, and help us to engage with what really matters.

Come and join PDA facilitator Sue Brayne and funeral celebrant Angela Ward for this highly interactive workshop to dig deep into the human condition and discover what life and death means to you in this time of chaos and challenge.

Please RSVP by clicking "Going" or "Interested" to receive the Zoom link ahead of the meeting.

  • Out of respect, I have changed the image for the Just Passing Through workshop on Monday, July 20th. I received a message expressing concern about including an image of an aboriginal man. I was drawn to the ancient wisdom I saw in his face, and his strength of being. However, I understand some may have found this offensive. So I do apologise.
I am looking forward to seeing you the at workshop.

  • Starts at 10.30am (Pacific), 1.30pm (Eastern time), 6.30pm (UK), 7.30pm (CEST)

I am interested in the deepest reasons for that, beneath the injuries from colonialism, capitalism, patriarchy, anthropocentrism and such like. The Collapse of Ideology and the End of Escape

An essay on the deeper causes and implications of climate-driven societal breakdown, by Professor Jem Bendell. (Long Read – 10,000 words) Introduction If you have begun to anticipate the climate-driven collapse of societies, what can you wish for? I have written elsewhere about the problems of being attached to hope, if that means we falsely… Continue reading … Continue
