  • I will just have arrived in China for a three-week stay. I don't know what time of day it will be, what state I will be in, and whether or not I can get past the great (internet) wall of China. But I will try harder not to forget the meeting this time...

I was deeply touched by recent posts on the FB Deep Adaptation Forum in particular about past human experiences of approaching armageddon and how to deal with it https://www.livingmyth.org/living-myth-podcast-137-the-two-sides-of...; and by Greta Thunberg. She is doing the right thing, and the way she is being attacked by powerful denialists shows what a big impact she is having. God speaks "out of the mouths of babes".

Not to be outdone, they published a piece on a similar topic two years later, by […]

Glocalising Deep Adaptation – launching the Deep Adaptation Groups Network

Today a new initiative is launched to support people coming together to help each other as we face the unravelling of normal life in the face of the climate crisis. Twelve local or language-specific initiatives, that are using Facebook to convene dialogue, have joined forces with the rapidly growing and global Positive Deep Adaptation group […]

The concept of Deep Adaptation to impending societal breakdown due to climate disruption is spreading around the world. It was first coined in a speech by Professor Jem Bendell in December 2016, but spread rapidly since his Deep Adaptation Paper went viral.
